Iron ore concentrate

Iron ore concentrates are deep beneficiated iron ore products, used for sintering and blast furnace production, as well as pellet production

Product range

iron ore pellet

Product range

An iron ore material in the form of round ball granules, produced from concentrate. Mainly used in blast furnace steelmaking or in DRI processes
The pellets may be fluxed or non-fluxed depending on their base-to-acid ratio (basicity)

iron ingot

A solid block or mass of iron that has been cast into a standardized shape for ease of handling, storage, and transportation is known as an iron ingot. It is a prevalent kind of iron processing and trading in the industrial sector.

Sponge iron

Sponge iron is the main product of SSIC. As a result of natural gas reforming the reduction gas produced in the reformer causes the reduction of iron ore and the production of sponge iron in contact with the hematite oxide pellet in the vertical furnace.

iron ore

Iron ore is a mineral substance which, when heated in the presence of a reductant, will yield metallic iron (Fe).   It almost always consists of iro oxides, the primary forms of which are magnetite (Fe3O4) and hematite (Fe2O3).

Iron ore is the source of primary iron for the world's iron and steel industries. It is therefore essential for the production of steel, which in turn is essential to maintain a strong industrial base.  Almost all (98%) iron ore is used in steelmaking.  Iron ore is mined in about 50 countries.
